CHICAGO --- Viterbo University's Maddie Connor (Germantown, Wis.) collected her second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week award of the season on Tuesday, while University of St. Francis' Ann Simon (Beecher, Ill.) and St. Ambrose University's Grace Beitzel (Geneva, Ill.) each gained weekly accolades for the first time, the league office has announced.

In her only match of the week, Connor, a senior, posted 22 assists (5.5 avg.) with seven aces and four digs in a four-set victory over Saint Xavier University on Saturday.

The win opened the league campaign for the No. 12-ranked V-Hawks, who are 6-4 overall and 2-0 in CCAC action this year.

Simon claimed the Defender of the Week honors after totaling 24 digs (6.0 per set) and 38 receptions in a four-set decision over Judson University on Thursday night.  The sophomore outside hitter also recorded three aces in the team's conference-opening win.

St. Francis upped its record to 2-5 overall in its only match of the week.
