Record-Setting Performances By SXU's Paninka, VU's Keck Net Weekly Women's Outdoor T&F Accolades

CHICAGO ---Saint Xavier University's Yanira Deana Paninka (Canary Island, Spain) and Viterbo University's Izzy Keck (Cadott, Wis.) saved their best for last, claiming the final Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's outdoor track & field weekly honors of the 2026 season when they were announced on Friday by the league office.  The awards recognized their performances at the CCAC Championships during the week of April 27-May 3.

Paninka, who was named the CCAC Outstanding Track Performer at the meet, was recognized as the track athlete of the week.  She won the 400-meter hurdles and was part of the 4x400-meter relay championship group on Saturday.  She also placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles.

The senior was part of two school record-breaking showings, including her 1:00.13 time in the 400 meter hurdles, which qualified as an 'A' standard and bested nine other competitors.  The other record that fell came in the relay event, where the group clocked in at 3:49.95, beating five other teams and hitting the 'B' standard.

Keck also delivered a record-setting performance at the CCAC Championships on Saturday, where she was named the Outstanding Field Performer.  Her vault of 4.03 meters set both a new school and meet record and ranks as the sixth-highest mark in the history of the NAIA.  It also sits in the No. 2 position for this spring.

The junior used that 'A' standard mark and her runner-up effort in the high jump to land CCAC Field Athlete of the Week accord.  She recorded a jump of 1.46 meters in a field of eight individuals in the high jump.

Other Field Nominees: Aayla-Marie Adams (Judson), Jamie Sierocki (Saint Xavier).
