First-Place Efforts Produce Weekly Women's Indoor T&F Honors For SXU's Clarke, VU's Keck

CHICAGO --- First-place efforts during the seven-day period ending Feb. 15 have led to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's indoor track & field weekly honors for Saint Xavier University's Lexi Clarke (Plainfield, Ill.) and Viterbo University's Izzy Keck (Cadott, Wis.), the league office announced on Thursday.

Clarke picked up her second CCAC Track Athlete of the Week honor with her 'A' mark in the 600-meter dash at the Grand Valley State University (Mich.) Big Meet on Friday.  The senior's 1:32.36 time broke her own school record and bested 36 other challengers.

Keck earned CCAC Field Athlete of the Week accord for the first time by qualifying for NAIA Nationals ('A' standard) in the pole vault event.  The junior's 3.7-meter height topped 17 other individuals competing at the Ripon College (Wis.) Dick Hendricks Invite on Saturday.
