Olivet Nazarene Sweeps First Set of Women's Indoor T&F Weekly Honors

CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University swept the first round of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for 2026 courtesy of the performances of Heidi Heldt (Weldon, Ill.) and Amanda Gustafson (Winnebago, Ill.), the league office announced on Wednesday.

Heldt earned the track portion of the honors after delivering the NAIA's third-fastest time in the mile this season at the North Central College Pat Heenan Invite on Saturday.  Her time of 4:54.83 placed the senior second at the meet among 41 runners and was an 'A' standard mark.

Gustafson, meanwhile, used a pair of first-place finishes to net CCAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition.  She won both the shot and weight throw events on Saturday at the Heenan Invite.

The junior bested the field of 28 competitors in the shot with a throw of 13.43 meters.  She was first among 26 in the weight throw with a distance of 14.53 meters.

Other Track Nominees: Emily Ludwig (Viterbo), Caleya Holmes (Judson).
