ONU's Antkoviak, VU's Wingo Gain First Women's Indoor T&F Weekly Honors For 2024-25 Season
CHICAGO --- The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced Olivet Nazarene University's Hannah Antkoviak (Allegan, Mich.) and Viterbo University's Olivia Wingo (Woodruff, Wis.) as its first recipients of the league's Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for 2025.
Antkoviak had quite he performance to notch Track Athlete of the Week recognition. The senior not only hit the NAIA "A" standard mark in the 600-meter run at the Hoosier Horsepower Invitational on Saturday, but also broke the Falls Creek facility record and posted the No. 1 time in the NAIA this winter with her 1-minute, 31-second mark en route to winning the 13-member race.
Antkoviak added a fourth-place finish among 30 competitors in the 60-meter hurdles, as well. Her time of 8.65 seconds was a "B" standard effort and just missed the "A" mark by one-hundredth of a second.
Wingo hit the "A" standard for the second meet in a row with her pole vault performance at the St. Olaf College Ole Opener on Saturday to capture CCAC Field Athlete of the Week accolades. The senior claimed the 14-person event with a height of 12 feet, 3.5 inches (3.75 meters).
