All-Academic Team Named For Women's Golf
CHICAGO --- Thirteen individuals have secured Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf all-academic status, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Saint Xavier University and league champion St. Ambrose University tied for the top distinction with three honorees each. Claiming a pair of recipients were both Olivet Nazarene University and Viterbo University. Holy Cross College, Judson University and Trinity Christian College each had one individual named to the 13-person squad.
Two recipients were repeat selections, while one made the team for the third year in a row. There were also a pair of individuals that boasted 4.00 cumulative grade point averages.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
