ONU's Catafort-Silva Gains Women's Golf Weekly Accolades

CHICAGO --- Leading her team to a third-place finish during the seven-day period from March 25-31, Olivet Nazarene University's Margaux Catafort-Silva (Mehun-Yevre, France) used that effort to garner Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week accord, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Catafort-Silva shot a four-over-par 76 at the Purgatory Intercollegiate hosted by Taylor University (Ind.) on Friday. That placed the freshman eighth individually among 52 competing at the Purgatory Golf Course in Upland, Ind.

A total of eight teams made up the field.
