CCAC Releases 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-Academic Squad

CHICAGO --- A total of 66 individuals representing all 11 schools that sponsor women's basketball were recognized on Tuesday morning when the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its winter all-academic selections.

Holy Cross College claimed the top spot with nine honorees, with Olivet Nazarene University and St. Ambrose University just one back.  Saint Xavier University was next in line with seven spots secured, followed by Judson University and University of St. Francis having six names on the list.

Indiana University South Bend and Trinity Christian College each had five selections with Calumet College of St. Joseph, Governors State University and Indiana University Northwest represented by four student-athletes each.

Among the list, 18 individuals were repeat selections, five were named to the team for the third year in a row and four were recognized for the fourth consecutive season.  The honor roll also included three student-athletes boasting a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average.  

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
