ONU's Brassard Claims Title, Men's CC Weekly Distinction

CHICAGO --- For the second time this season, Olivet Nazarene University's Jeremy Brassard (Strafford, N.H.) has earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades, it was announced by the league office Wednesday morning.

Brassard, a sophomore, led a pack of 216 runners to claim the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships individual title with a time of 26:02 over the 8K, rain-soaked course on Friday. His performance also helped the Tigers gain first-place team honors at the 13-team meet.

Olivet Nazarene is currently ranked No. 13 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.
