Olivet Nazarene Leads 2024 Men's Volleyball All-Academic Honor Roll

CHICAGO --- Led by Olivet Nazarene University's ten honorees, a total of seven schools were represented when the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2024 Men's Volleyball All-Academic Team on Monday afternoon.  A total of 33 individuals were recognized with the distinction.

St. Ambrose University and Trinity Christian College both tied for the No. 2 spot with six awardees each, with Calumet College of St. Joseph next in line with five of its team members garnering spots on the team. 

League regular-season and tournament champion Saint Xavier University had three players make the list, while Judson University was represented by two individuals and Roosevelt University one.

A total of 15 players were on the squad one year ago, as well, including two that have made the team three straight years.

Olivet Nazarene also boasted the only perfect 4.0 student-athlete in Kyle Byers.

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
