CCAC Championship Performances Earn Men's Outdoor T&F Weekly Honors For SAU's House, Reinhart
CHICAGO --- Award-winning performances by Elijah House (Sheffield, Ill.) and Joe Reinhart (Girard, Ill.) at the 2026 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships during the seven-day period ending May 3 helped St. Ambrose University sweep the final weekly outdoor track & field awards for the 2026 season. The announcement was made Friday afternoon by the league office.
House, the CCAC Outstanding Track Performer at the league championships, added to his honor roll with the CCAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award. A pair of first-place efforts over the weekend earned him the recognition.
The junior won the 800-meter race with a 'B' standard time of 1:51.75, outperforming 30 other individuals. He also teamed up for a title in the 4x800-meter race with the SAU foursome clocking in at 7:53.28.
Reinhart also turned his Outstanding Field Performer recognition last week into CCAC Field Athlete of the Week accolades on Friday. That came after a pair of all-conference efforts this past weekend.
The junior won the hammer throw with a distance of 63.12 meters, defeating 15 other challengers. He also placed third out of 16 in the shot put with his throw of 15.55 meters.
Reinhart, like House, earned a total of 20 points at the CCAC Championships with his other four points coming via a fifth-place effort in the discus throw. There, he registered a mark of 43.51 meters.
Other Track Nominees: Sean Harris (Saint Xavier), Edward Young (Judson).
Other Field Nominees: Connor Whalen (Saint Xavier), Marcus Robinson (Olivet Nazarene), Danny Troncoso (Judson).
