Men's Track & Field Announces Names of 86 All-Academic Team Honorees
CHICAGO --- A total of 86 student-athletes representing each of the eight institutions sponsoring men's track & field have been named to the 2025 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Track & Field All-Academic Team with indoor season champion Olivet Nazarene University headlining the group with its 20 recipients. The league office made the announcement Wednesday morning.
Olivet Nazarene was one of four schools to boast double-figure honorees. The other three were St. Ambrose University with 18 selections, Saint Xavier University with 17 and Trinity Christian College with 10.
Others named included eight individuals at University of St. Francis, six from Viterbo University, four at Governors State University and three from Judson University.
Included in the 80-plus awardee count were four student-athletes that were named to the team for the fourth time, 14 recognized for the third year in a row and 23 repeat choices. Seven on the list produced perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point averages.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
