SAU's Guimaray Collects Men's Tennis Weekly Honors

CHICAGO --- St. Ambrose University's Gabriel Guimaray (Lima, Peru) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending March 29, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

The senior won each of his two matches last week to claim the prize.  He teamed with Sebastian Arevalo for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles before coming out victorious in a 6-2, 6-3 decision at No. 2 singles.  Both efforts came in a 5-2 victory over Wartburg College (Iowa) on Wednesday. 

St. Ambrose is 10-3 on the year.
