Cardinal Stritch's Banov Lands Weekly Men's Tennis Recognition

CHICAGO --- For the second time this season, Cardinal Stritch University boasts the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.  Senior Danail Banov (Varna, Bulgaria) earned the recognition this time around for the seven-day period ending April 9, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Cardinal Stritch went 2-0 as a team, while Banov earned the same record with his two victories against Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday.  He won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and 6-2 at No. 2. doubles.

The Wolves are 15-8 overall and 3-0 in league competition.
