First-Place Finish Nets Weekly Men's Golf Honors For VU's Kaczynski

CHICAGO --- A first-place finish during the seven-day period ending April 19 has earned Viterbo University's JJ Kaczynski (Oak Creek, Wis.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Kaczynski shot a three-over-par 147 over two days to claim the Luther College (Iowa) Spring Classic on Sunday.  He opened with a 73 on Saturday before registering a 74 on Sunday. 

As a team, Viterbo tied for third place out of five squads at the event.  A total of 35 individuals made up the field.
