Top 10 Finishes Earn JU's Coakley Weekly Men's Golf Honors

CHICAGO --- Posting a pair of Top 10 finishes during the seven-day period between April 6-12 has earned Judson University's Riley Coakley (Carpentersville, Ill.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Thursday morning.

Coakley opened last week by winning Judson's own Spring Invite last Monday.  He shot a one-over-par 72 to out-perform 126 other golfers.

The sophomore followed that effort with a seventh-place showing among 99 competitors at the Carthage College (Wis.) Invite on Thursday.  There, Coakley shot a three-over-par 74.

Judson placed second among 22 schools at its own invite, while tying for fifth place among 18 schools at Carthage.
