CCAC Men's Golf Tournament Tees Off Monday
CHICAGO --- The 2014 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Tournament tees off on Monday, April 21 at the George W. Dunne National Golf Course in Oak Forest, Ill., where 12 teams will vie for the right to advance to the NAIA National Championships. The 36-hole tournament concludes Tuesday.
2012 CCAC champion Holy Cross College is the favorite heading into the tournament. The Saints are the only league team earning votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll. Other top challengers in the field include Cardinal Stritch University, Saint Xavier University and University of St. Francis, last year's champion.
The winner advances to the 63rd Annual NAIA National Championships May 13-16 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
