First-Place Finish Leads To Runner of the Week Honors For SAU's Knoche

CHICAGO --- Winning the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bee Invitational has its rewards. 

That came on Wednesday when SAU's Kaitlyn Knoche (Donahue, Iowa) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.  The junior topped the field of 31 runners with her time of 23 minutes, 49 seconds on the 6K course.

St. Ambrose also won the meet as a team, finishing ahead of two other squads.

Other Nominees: Madalyn Addison (Indiana Northwest), Ilie Jensen (Viterbo).
