ONU's Heldt Uses Runner-Up Finish To Secure Women's CC Weekly Accolades

CHICAGO --- A runner-up finish at the Lewis University Early Bird on Friday has earned Olivet Nazarene University's Heidi Heldt (Weldon, Ill.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades for the seven-day period ending Sept. 7, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.

Heldt, a senior, recorded a time of 14:45.26 on the 4K course.  That placed her second in a field of 78 total runners.  She also helped lead the Tigers as a team to a runner-up finish among seven squads competing.
