SAU's Willerth Earns Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week Accolades

CHICAGO --- Ross Willerth's (Eldridge, Iowa) first-place finish for St. Ambrose University during the seven-day stretch ending Sept. 14 has earned the senior Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Willerth bested the 16-person field at SAU's own Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday.  The senior completed the 8K course in 26 minutes, 21 seconds.
