SXU's Harris, ONU's Robinson Gain Men's Indoor Track & Field Spotlight Again

CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Sean Harris (Blue Island, Ill.) and Olivet Nazarene University's Marcus Robinson (Mableton, Ga.) each gained the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's indoor track & field spotlight again with their performances during the week of Feb. 9-15.  The league office made the announcement on Thursday morning.

Robinson secured his fourth CCAC Field Athlete of the Week award with his 17.58-meter toss in the weight throw event at the Grand Valley State University (Mich.) Big Meet on Friday.  The 'B' standard mark placed the sophomore eighth among 26 participants in the strong field.    

Harris used a school-record time of 8.08 seconds in the preliminary round of the 60-meter hurdles to notch CCAC Track Athlete of the Week accord for the second time this winter.  The 'B' mark at the Grand Valley State Big Meet on Friday placed him seventh in a field of 40 qualifiers.

The senior also recorded the seventh-fastest time in SXU history in the 60-meter dash.  His time of 6.93 seconds enabled him to finish sixth among 109 total competitors.
