HCC, ONU Top Men's Golf All-Academic Team
CHICAGO --- Holy Cross College and Olivet Nazarene University shared the title for the most student-athletes named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's golf all-academic team when the league office made the announcement on Wednesday. Both schools had five representatives.
Next in line were both league champion St. Ambrose University and Trinity Christian College with four honorees each, followed by Viterbo University with a pair. Judson University, Saint Xavier University and University of St. Francis were all represented by one student-athlete to round out the list of 23 recipients.
Among those on the squad, five were repeat selections and six earned a spot on the list for the third year in a row.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
