SAU, VU Headline Men's Basketball All-Academic Team

CHICAGO --- St. Ambrose University and Viterbo University headlined the list of recipients named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team when the league office made the announcement on Thursday morning.  Both programs landed ten players on the list.

Right behind each of those two schools was University of St. Francis with nine selections and Holy Cross College and Trinity Christian College with eight each.  Also landing among the Top 5 were Olivet Nazarene University and Saint Xavier University with six awardees each.

The rest of the honor roll was made up of three individuals each from Governors State University, Indiana University South Bend and Judson University, two from Calumet College of St. Joseph and one from Indiana University Northwest.

A total of 69 individuals were recognized by the conference, 31 of which were also members of the team one year ago.  Included in that list were nine three-peats and one four-time honoree.  Three recipients turned in perfect 4.00 grade point averages.
