Trinity Christian College has announced that Josh Lenarz will become the Interim Athletics Director for the 2010-11 school year. Lenarz, who has served in Trinity's athletics program for the past 12 years, will fill the position left by Jeff Raymond, who resigned after six years at the helm of the department. Lenarz steps into the leadership role after serving as the assistant athletics director for the past four years.

Former Olivet Nazarene University track and field standout Mark Hollis '07 took home the pole vault crown at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships which were held at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. With windy conditions knocking out nearly half of the field early, Hollis beat out Derek Miles with no misses at the height of 18'4 ½''.

With the 2009-10 academic year in the books, Olivet Nazarene University has captured its third-straight Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Commissioner's Cup. The Tigers accumulated 94.5 points to find themselves atop the list of the 14 CCAC institutions.

Chicago, June 15, 2010- Enzley Mitchell IV has been named as athletic director for Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), university President John Anderson announced this week. Mitchell has 14 years of college and professional coaching and management experience, and joins IIT from Northern New Mexico College (NNMC), where he has served as athletic director and head men's basketball coach for the past two years.

Jeff Raymond, who has served as Trinity's Athletics Director and head track and field coach for the past six years, has announced plans to leave the College. Raymond is resigning his position to become the head coach of the cross country and track and field programs at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.

"I want to thank President Timmermans and Dr. Rudenga for giving me the opportunity to come to Trinity six years ago," said Raymond. "While I am excited about this new chapter in my life, I am very thankful for the faculty, staff, coaches and student-athletes I've been able to work with over past few years. Working at Trinity has been a wonderful experience and I am confident that great things are ahead for Trinity athletics."
