St. Francis' Greg Leavell registered his second double-double of the season on Saturday.
The University of St. Francis won its second straight game with a 75-69 win over Indiana University South Bend last week. The Saints were led by Greg Leavell (Farmington Hills, MI) double-double. His stellar performance earned him CCAC Men's Basketball Division I Player of the Week for the week ending January 31
The Saints were down by eight points with seven minutes remaining when they put together a 22-8 run to storm back and win the game. Down 61-53, Leavell scored 10 of the Saints' next 13 points. He finished the game with his second double-double of the year with 21 points and 15 rebounds. He also had five assists, a block and a steal. He connected on 7-of-15 shots and converted all six of his free throws.
Leavell ranks seventh in the CCAC with an 11.2 points per game average and ninth with his 4.5 rebounds per game average.
St. Francis is 6-16 overall and 2-2 in the CCAC.
