Oelke led Judson to a 3-2 win over Trinity International last week

Judson University freshman Carissa Oelke (Oregon, IL) had an outstanding match against conference foe Trinity International last week to help lead Judson to an impressive 3-2 comeback win over the Trojans. Oelke has been named CCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 25.

Judson was down 0-2 against the Trojans before the Eagles stormed back for three straight wins for the 3-2 match victory. Oelke, a 5-10 outside hitter, led Judson with her 10th double-double of the season with 26 kills and 19 digs. Her 19 kills was one shy of her career high. Oelke had just four errors in 68 attempts for a .324 hitting percentage. She is ranked fifth in the CCAC with a 3.27 kills per game average.

The match against Trinity International was Judson's third straight five-game conference match. With the win, Judson moved up to fourth in the CCAC standings and has four conference wins for the first time since 2005. The Eagles are now 7-21 overall and 4-3 in the CCAC.
