Leading Olivet Nazarene University to its 10th win of the year, senior goalkeeper Danielle Johnston (Bloomington, IL) posted 135 minutes of scoreless play in the net, including her fifth shutout of the season, to earn CCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. For St. Xavier University, sophomore midfielder Nancy Schueth (Lincoln, NE) tallied three goals and an assist last week to earn CCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Both awards are for the week ending Oct. 4.

conference victories last week. The Tigers defeated Robert Morris 2-0 as Johnston had 10 saves in 90 minutes to earn the shut out. Olivet then dominated Cardinal Stritch, 8-0. Johnston was in the net for 45 minutes. ONU improved it record to 10-1-1 on the season and 4-0 in the CCAC.
Saint Xavier earned one win and one tie in its two CCAC games last week. Schueth had two goals and one assist in a 12-0 rout of Holy Cross. In a 1-1 tie against St. Francis, Schueth scored the lone goal for the Cougars. Schueth scored the game's first goal just four minutes into
regulation. St. Xavier nearly pulled off the victory but St. Francis scored with three seconds remaining in regulation. St. Xavier is now 6-5-1 on the year and 2-1-1 in the CCAC.
