The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has named its 2009 Daktronics Baseball Scholar-Athlete Team and of the 239 total recipients to make the team, 18 hail from the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Both Olivet Nazarene University and Robert Morris College earned the most spots among CCAC institutions with four representatives each with Calumet College of St. Joseph, Saint Xavier University and University of St. Francis gaining three spots.

Judson University rounded out the cast of NAIA scholar-athletes with one pick.

To gain the award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher at his current institution and be academically classified as a junior, senior or graduate student. The nominated student-athlete must also have been enrolled at his current school for a minimum of one academic year.
