
Judson University's DeWayne Robinson (Memphis, Tenn.) hit the 30-point mark for the third time this season during the week ending Feb. 15 leading the 6-3 senior guard to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Division II Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this year.
Playing all 40 minutes in a 93-90 league win over Purdue University Calumet on Feb. 11, Robinson delivered the seventh 30-plus point game of his career on 11-of-21 shooting from the field. Added to that, he also grabbed five rebounds and was credited with five steals and two assists in the victory.
Robinson then closed out the week with 16 points and five rebounds in a 73-64 win over league foe Trinity International University on Feb. 14.
For the two games combined, Robinson averaged 23.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in extending the Eagles' winning streak to six games.
Winners of eight of its last nine games, as well, Judson is 18-10 overall and 8-2 in CCAC play, one game behind front-running Trinity Christian College and one-half game behind second-place Cardinal Stritch University.
