CHICAGO --- Trinity International University's Eddie Windsor (Fayetteville, Ga.) made a big first splash, while University of St. Francis' Mohamad Rashid (Plainfield, Ill.) produced multiple points in back-to-back matches to earn Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending Oct. 1, it was announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Windsor, a sophomore, was recognized as the CCAC Defensive Player of the Week after authoring a pair of double-overtime shutouts.  In his first career start on Wednesday, Windsor became the first goalkeeper to blank Holy Cross College this season with his seven saves in a 0-0 tie.  He then doubled that production with 14 saves in another scoreless draw with Cardinal Stritch University on Saturday.

Trinity International's 0-0-2 week put the Trojans at 2-7-2 on the season.

Rashid, a senior midfielder, gained CCAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades after being one of the Saints' catalysts in their perfect 2-0 week.  He provided both goals in USF's 2-0 win over Olivet Nazarene on Wednesday, marking St. Francis' first victory over the Tigers since 2011.

Rashid followed that performance up with a goal and three assists for five total points on Saturday in a 6-2 victory against Trinity Christian College.

With the pair of wins, St. Francis remained as the only conference team left without a loss or a tie in league play having started out the conference campaign 4-0.  Overall, USF is 6-3-1.

Other Offensive Nominees: Jose Garcia (Roosevelt), James Meehan (Calumet St. Joseph).

Other Defensive Nominees: Carlos Ferrer Coto (St. Francis), Lewis Tomlinson (Holy Cross), Gary Mendoza (Roosevelt), Leon Gopal (Holy Cross), Roy Gean (Calumet St. Joseph).
