CHICAGO --- University of St. Francis' Bethany Dombkowski (Frankfort, Ill.) gained her second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award with her second shutout of the season, while Trinity International University's Jillian Kolster (Grand Rapids, Mich.) earned her first CCAC Offensive Player of the Week medal via a pair of two-goal efforts during the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.

Dombkowski, a senior goalkeeper, recorded six saves in a 1-0 double-overtime win over Olivet Nazarene last Tuesday to give the Saints their first victory over the Tigers since October 8, 2005.  She did not appear in USF's other contest, a 2-1 overtime setback to Trinity Christian College on Saturday.

The Saints are 6-3-2 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.

Kolster, a junior forward, not only tallied a pair of goals in two league victories last week, but also accounted for the game-winning goals in each contest, a 4-1 win versus Holy Cross College last Tuesday and a 3-2 upset of NAIA No. 25-ranked Cardinal Stritch University in overtime Saturday.

Kolster's goals boosted Trinity International's overall record to 8-3 on the season, not to mention a 3-1 mark in conference play.

Other Offensive Nominees: Camille Papelera (St. Francis), Maria Berrum (Robert Morris Illinois), Monica Munoz (Roosevelt), Alex Clemente (Calumet St. Joseph).

Other Defensive Nominees: Jade Newton (Calumet St. Joseph).
