CHICAGO, Ill. --- Saint Xavier University's Courtney Joyce (Chicago, Ill.) earned her third Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference weekly volleyball honor, while Trinity Christian College's Anna Maatman (Lynwood, Ill.) and Brianna Figueroa (Hammond, Ind.) each gained their first when the league office made the announcement Tuesday morning.  All three players helped lead their respective teams to perfect weeks.

Joyce, a senior, was again recognized as the CCAC Setter of the Week after averaging 11.8 assists per set in a trio of wins.  She also authored her eighth double-double of the season on Saturday when she totaled 52 assists and 20 digs in a four-set win over Lourdes University (Ohio).  The 52 assists was her second-highest figure in a match this season.

In her other two matches on the week, Joyce posted 29 assists in a three-set victory against Roosevelt on Tuesday and 37 assists in a three-set win versus Concordia University (Mich.) on Friday.

Saint Xavier improved to 16-3 on the season with the three wins during the week.

Maatman, a freshman outside hitter, and Figueroa, a freshman libero, gained CCAC Attacker and Defender of the Week accolades, respectively, after leading the Trolls to a pair of conference wins and keeping them as one of only two remaining unbeatens in league play.

Maatman boasted a 3.50 kills-per-set average, a 3.13 digs-per-set average and a .375 attack percentage, committing only four errors in 64 attempts over the two matches.  She earned a double-double with her 12 kills and 16 digs in a five-set win over Olivet Nazarene on Tuesday before turning in a .467 attack percentage and 16 kills in a three-set victory opposite University of St. Francis on Thursday.

Figueroa averaged 6.25 digs per set and made good on 34 of 35 reception attempts in the two league wins.  She registered 29 digs in the win over Olivet Nazarene and another 21 versus St. Francis.

Trinity Christian is 10-7 on the season.
