CHICAGO --- Posting top-three performances in a pair of events on Saturday have earned University of St. Francis' Raven Kelly (Romeoville, Ill.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors, while Olivet Nazarene University's Alexa Beezhold (St. John, Ind.) gained a similar distinction as the CCAC Track Athlete of the Week for the seven-day period ending April 9, it was announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Kelly posted the NAIA's second-best performance in the hammer throw this spring with her toss of 56.76 meters (186 feet, 2 1/2 inches) and followed with the third-best mark in the shot put (14.16 meters/46-5 1/2) at the Benedictine University NCAA Challenge on Saturday.  The shot put effort also was the No. 1 showing at the meet, while the hammer throw landed her a runnerup finish.

Both marks met the NAIA "A" qualifying standard.

Beezhold produced the ninth-best time in the 1,500-meter run (4:56.45) at the Marian University (Ind.) Knight Open on Friday and was also a part of the Tigers' sixth-place finisher in the 4x400-meter relay at 4:29.52.

Other Field Nominees: Brandi Hosford (St. Ambrose), Anne Brown (Olivet Nazarene), Jennifer Donnell (Judson).
