Sweeping both the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles, Olivet Nazarene University nearly did the same on the postseason awards with no less than four individuals gaining top distinction, including head coach Brenda Williams, who was named the league's coach of the year.

ONU also claimed CCAC player, setter and freshman of the year accolades with senior middle blocker Michelle McFadden (Lincoln, Ill.) highlighting the list by being named the conference's player of the year.

Teammates Erin Sikora (Elgin, Ill.), a junior, and DeeAnn Garvin (Bloomington, Ill.), a freshman libero, were named the setter and freshman of the year, respectively.

Two other Tiger players joined McFadden and Sikora on the all-conference team - sophomore right-side attacker Tara Schmidt (Olathe, Kan.) and sophomore middle blocker Sara Byrne (Downers Grove, Ill.) - giving ONU a league-high four spots on the 12-member squad.

University of St. Francis was next in line with three representatives, while Illinois Institute of Technology managed a pair of spots with IIT Scarlet Hawk Aubrey VanderHeyden (Rockford, Ill.) also being named the CCAC libero of the year.

Judson University, Trinity Christian College and Trinity International University each had one individual make the team.

Olivet Nazarene (36-9) captured its fourth straight conference tournament crown earlier today in gaining its third straight bid to the NAIA national tournament, which opens Nov. 22 at a site to be announced.
