Judson University's Alex Tyton (Elgin, Ill.) and Leonardo Silva (Sao Paulo, Brazil) repeated as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Players of the Week after they led the No. 3-seeded Eagles to their fifth consecutive CCAC Tournament title during the week ending Nov. 9.

Silva, a senior forward, notched three goals combined in the semifinal and championship games to earn the offensive accolades, while Tyton, who has been named the league's top defensive player for the fourth time this season, allowed just one goal in each of the two victories.

Silva, for the second time in as many weeks, netted two goals against No. 2 seed Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) with the two on Nov. 5 coming in the 2-1 semifinal-round win. Silva tied the game at one-all with his first goal in the 77th minute and then delivered the game winner in the 96th minute.

His other goal was an insurance tally in the 3-1 title-game win over top-seeded Illinois Institute of Technology on Nov. 8.

Five of Silva's six goals have come in the Eagles' last four games.

After facing only two shots on goal in the semifinal victory, Tyton was hit with a barrage of shots on goal in the championship game and stepped up each time recording a career-high 12 saves.

In the three CCAC tournament matches, Tyton posted a 1.00 goals-against average.

Judson (15-5) now heads to the opening-round of the NAIA national tournament (Nov. 22) riding a five-game winning streak.
