Olivet Nazarene University and senior middle blocker Michelle McFadden (Lincoln, Ill.) were both forces to be reckoned with during the week ending September 21 as the Tigers claimed all five of their matches over the seven-day period in convincing fashion backed by McFadden, who captured Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week recognition for the second time this season.

She was chosen the first time back on Sept. 1.

McFadden, who also earned Homestead Classic All-Tournament honors, averaged four kills and better than one block per game (1.33) in her 15 games and five matches played on the week.

Even more impressive was her attack percentage, which rang up to a .510 reading after she committed only 11 errors in 96 total chances.

McFadden hit the double figure mark in kills in four of the five matches topped by her 16-kill effort against University of Michigan-Dearborn on Sept. 20.

She also totaled no less than four assist blocks in each of her first three matches.

Olivet Nazarene, a winner of seven matches in a row and 11 of 12, captured all five of its decisions on the week in the minimum three games starting with a league victory over Judson University on Sept. 15. The Tigers (13-7, 4-0) then swept the field at their own Homestead Classic.
