Two-time defending Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country champion Olivet Nazarene University has been tabbed to three-peat in 2008 after the Tigers received eight of the nine possible first-place votes in a preseason vote of the league's nine coaches.

Olivet Nazarene, which had each of its top five individuals place among the top nine runners overall in the league meet one year ago en route to the crown, received 64 votes, followed by Illinois Institute of Technology, last year's runnerup finisher, which garnered 47.

Saint Xavier University was two votes behind Illinois Tech with 45 to place third in the preseason poll. Trinity Christian College, which gained the only other first-place vote, was fourth with 43 votes.

The rest of the poll found Robert Morris College picking up 38 votes, University of St. Francis amassing 28, Judson University, which is sponsoring the sport for the first time, gaining 25, Calumet College St. Joseph totaling 20 votes and Cardinal Stritch University earning 14 votes.
