's Aly Kelley (Aurora, Ill.) batted .643 and authored 11 of her 12 runs batted in over her last four contests of a six-game stretch to earn Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week accolades, while Robert Morris College's Jennifer Burns (Tinley Park, Ill.) won each of her last three decisions as part of an overall 3-1, 1.30 ERA week to gain CCAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending April 20.

Kelley, who batted .500 overall (10-of-20) with a 1.000 slugging percentage, did the majority of her damage at the University of Illinois Springfield Tournament, where the Cougars went 4-0 as part of an overall 4-2 week. In three of those contests, Kelley produced multiple-hit affairs, including a 4-for-4, 4 RBI game in a 10-4 win over McKendree University on April 20.

She also registered at least one hit and drove in at least one run in five straight games to close out the week thanks in large part to hitting home runs in each of the team's last three games.

Besides averaging two RBI per game, Kelley, a senior catcher, also scored five runs and posted a double among her four extra-base hits.

Burns, a freshman, registered back-to-back 12-strikeout efforts in wins over Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) (April 17) and Lake Forest College (April 18) and totaled 33 K's over 20 innings during her personal three-game winning streak. In all, she was credited with 37 strikeouts in 27 innings.

Burns allowed just one earned run in the Cardinal Stritch and Lake Forest games combined and yielded only one hit in the former contest, which the Eagles won 8-0 in six innings.

In the two league games she pitched in, she went 2-0 with a 1.08 earned run average and 21 K's.

Robert Morris remained in third place in the CCAC with its 3-1 league record for the week. The Eagles are 8-4 in the conference and 21-14 overall after winning four of their seven decisions during the week.

Saint Xavier, which did not play any conference games during the week, remained in fourth place with its 8-6 league mark. Overall, the Cougars are 16-16.
