BOURBONNAIS-Codi Jaeger’s layup with eight seconds remaining in the contest lifted Olivet Nazarene University past Robert Morris College (Ill.) and into the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Final, as the Tigers won 101-99 on Thursday in McHie Arena.

Robert Morris forced the 99-all tie on a three-pointer from Chanel Jones-Delas with 30 seconds left.

Hilary Disch missed a layup, but the Tigers got the ball out-of-bounds.

Jaeger made a cut to the basket on the out-of-bounds play and scored the layup.

Robert Morris turned the ball over their ensuing possession.

The layup capped a 21-9 Tiger run, as Robert Morris had built a 90-80 lead with 4:57 left in the contest.

Robert Morris had built their 10-point lead following a 23-5 run, after the Tigers had built an eight-point lead (75-67) on a three-pointer from Courtney Hehn.

In the first half, the Tigers built a 15-point lead, 35-20, and saw their lead cut down to two by halftime, 51-49.

Hehn led the way for the Tigers with 21 points, while Hilary Disch scored 19 points. Maggie Sillar posted a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Jessica Mateer added 11 points in the victory.

Robert Morris was led by the 21 points from Jessica Harris, while Jones-Delas added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Jerita Gordon scored 17 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, including six offensive rebounds. Tonesha Members scored 15 points, while Carolyn Richardson added 10 points.

The Tigers improved to 23-6, while Robert Morris fell to 19-13.

The Tigers advanced to the CCAC Final for the third straight year, where they’ll face Saint Xavier University (Ill.) on Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
