CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University's Kathryn Dean (Lindenhurst, Ill.) posted a personal-best 6K time this past week to earn Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Female Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades for the seven-day period ending Oct. 7.
Dean authored a time of 22:53 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Pre-Nationals Invitational on Saturday to place 21st out of 326 runners. She also helped the NAIA No. 3-ranked Tigers finish third overall out of 30 teams, just behind highly-regarded NCAA teams Johns Hopkins University and Calremont-Mudd-Scripps College.
