CHICAGO --- The rare feat of recording five double-doubles in five matches over a seven-day period has earned Trinity Christian College junior outside hitter Kaitlin Feddema (Kalamazoo, Mich.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors, it was announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Feddema authored no less than 11 kills and 11 digs in any one match highlighted by a 19-kill, 21-dig effort in a four-set victory over Roosevelt University on Saturday.  One match later, she posted 18 kills and 15 digs in another four-game win, this time against Robert Morris University.

One day earlier, to start the Calumet College of St. Joseph CCAC Crossover Tournament, Feddema combined for 26 kills and 25 digs in earning a split decision against Trinity International University (3-0 win) and Saint Xavier University (3-0 loss).

To start the week, she turned in 13 kills, 14 digs and four block assists to defeat Olivet Nazarene in four games on Tuesday.

For the five matches total, Feddema averaged 4.22 kills and 4.17 digs per set, while attacking at a .306 clip.  Those numbers enabled her to lead the team in kills in all five matches, while ranking either first or second in digs.  She also totaled 10 assist blocks all told.

With its 4-1 week, Trinity Christian maintained a hold on first place in the CCAC South Division, sharing the top spot with University of St. Francis.  Both teams are 10-1.  Trinity Christian is 18-5 overall.
