CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Kyle Held (Palatine, Ill.) proved untouchable, while Cardinal Stritch University's Peter Bannister (Sutton Colfield, England) produced his second multiple-goal game of the season in topping this week's men's soccer performance list in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Held earned CCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after posting a pair of shutouts during the seven-day period ending Sept. 23.  He blanked both Cornerstone University (Mich.) , 3-0, and conference foe Trinity International University, 2-0, during the week and saved six shots on goal total.  Four of the saves came in Wednesday's non-conference affair against Cornerstone.

Held's two shutouts give him a league-leading three on the season and helped boost Saint Xavier's record up to 5-3 overall.

Bannister, meanwhile, gained the league's top offensive accolades after he tallied two of Cardinal Stritch's three goals in a 3-1 conference victory over Trinity Christian College on Saturday.

Just a freshman, Bannister has already tallied eight goals in seven games this season from his forward position.

The Wolves are 4-3 overall.
