CHICAGO --- Sophomore setter Erynn Schuh (Frankfort, Ill.) helped guide Trinity Christian College to a perfect week on her way to being named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.  Schuh not only led the Trolls to an unblemished 5-0 record for the seven-day period ending Sept. 23, but also kept the opposition from winning any games.

Schuh averaged 11.69 assists per game over 13 games to lead the offensive attack.  Included were three matches of no less than 31 assists topped by a 50-assist match against Defiance College (Ohio) in the first of four matches at the University of Chicago Gargoyle Classic over the weekend.

Schuh's other offensive numbers included a .959 serving percentage, seven kills and four aces.

Defensively, she was just as solid with her 3.62 dig average ranking second on the club.  In four of the five matches, Schuh posted double-digit dig totals.  She also recorded a pair of block assists.

Besides wins over Defiance, Heidelberg University (Ohio), Chatham University (Penn.) and Carthage College (Wis.) at Chicago, Trinity Christian also picked up a three-set win over CCAC foe Indiana University South Bend earlier in the week.

For the season, the Trolls are 12-4.
