CHICAGO --- Calumet College of St. Joseph's Mat Plawecki (Griffith, Ind.) and Robert Morris University's Milco Risteski (Palatine, Ill.) have garnered the distinction as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference's top performers in men's soccer for the week ending Sept. 2, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Plawecki, a junior midfielder, recorded an assist in a 3-2 setback to Concordia University (Mich.) on Saturday before leading the Crimson Wave to a 3-2 victory over Rochester College (Mich.) with a pair of goals on Sunday to earn CCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors.  The win was the first of the season for Calumet St. Joseph against two losses.

Risteski, a senior goalkeeper, went overtime to secure his second shutout of the season and his first CCACA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week nod.  He stopped seven shots in a 0-0 double-overtime deadlock with Cornerstone University (Mich.) on the road Thursday in the Eagles' only game of the week.

The tie kept Robert Morris unbeaten through three games this season at 2-0-1.
