CHICAGO --- Calumet College of St. Joseph's Lucia Neaves (Cicero, Ill.) played a role in five of her team's 10 goals during the week and University of St. Francis' Amanda Coleman (Lockport, Ill.) came on in a pinch stopping 12 shots over two games to claim Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Women's Soccer Player of the Week accolades, respectively, it was announced on Tuesday.

Neaves, a junior midfielder, tallied all of her points (eight total) in an 8-2 victory over St. Andrews University (N. Car.) on Aug. 28, where she scored three goals and added a pair of assists.  Calumet won that contest, 8-2, before dropping decisions to Concordia University, Mich. (3-0) and Purdue University Calumet, Ind. (3-2).

For the season, Calumet St. Joseph is 2-2.

Making her first two starts of the year in goal, Coleman, a junior, allowed one goal each in split decisions against Northwestern College (Iowa) and Dordt College (Iowa).  She stopped seven shots in a 1-0 setback to Nothwestern on Friday before registering five saves in a 4-1 victory over Dordt on Saturday.

Coleman becomes the second straight Saint to earn the defensive distinction following the lead of senior defender Ann Zajda (Plainfield, Ill.), who garnered the recognition last week.

USF is 3-1 on the season.
