CHICAGO, Ill. --- Robert Morris University's Gordy Gurson (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) and Saint Xavier University's Kyle Held (Palatine, Ill.) led the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference charge in a pair of upset victories on their way to weekly league honors, which were announced on Tuesday.

Gurson, a junior forward, was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four times over the seven-day period from August 20-26, including the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the Eagles' 3-2 upset of NAIA No. 8-ranked Hannibal-LaGrange College (Mo.) on Saturday.  Earlier in the week, the 2011 CCAC Player of the Year tallied three goals in an 8-0 decision over Harris-Stowe State University (Mo.).

Held, a junior goalkeeper, shut out NAIA No. 4 University of Rio Grande (Ohio) on Friday.  He stopped nine shots on goal in the 90-minute affair with Rio Grande totaling 24 shots on the day opposite just six for the Cougars.

The game was Saint Xavier's first of the season, while Robert Morris is now 2-0 on the young campaign.
