Hannibal, Mo. – The Robert Morris Men's Soccer team upset #8 ranked Hannibal-LaGrange University 3-2 in overtime on Saturday, August 25^th.  The victory raises the Eagles record to 2-0 in the new season.

The Eagles fell behind just four minutes into the game and found themselves trailing 2-0 in the 31^st minute.  The score remained this way at the break despite the Eagles holding a 9-5 edge in shots.

Rolando Cruz cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 66^th minute off a John Pachar assist and Stefan Zindovic evened the game up in the 79^th minute with the assist going to Felipe Cortez.  The score remained tied 2-2 through regulation sending the game to overtime.  Just over four minutes into the first overtime, the Eagles were awarded a penalty kick for a Hannibal-LaGrange handball violation and Gordy Gurson hammered the shot into the top corner to win the game.

Eagles goalkeeper Milco Risteski made four saves in the win and the Eagles outshot the home team 21-8 on the night.

"Our team made a wonderful recovery after two poor mistakes put is down 2-0 early in the first half," stated Eagles Head Coach Jake Truty.  "The team kept their heads, played positive, and found a way to fight back to win the game. "

The Eagles travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday, August 30^th to take on Cornerstone University.  Kick-off is set for 2:30 P.M.
