Stephanie Beck (Mishawaka, Ind.) of Purdue University-Calumet is the CCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week (DII) as she helped her team to a 2-0 record on the week. Purdue-Calumet upset #18 Indiana-Northwest, 75-63, and also picked up a win over NAIA Division I Indiana-South Bend, 61-59. Purdue-Calumet is now 6-3 overall.


Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week

Averaging 19.5 points per game, Beck scored a season-high 26 points in a 75-63 win over #18 Indiana-Northwest. Playing 39 minutes vs. Indiana-Northwest, she hit five three-pointers on nine attempts and had five assists and three steals. In her first game of the week, in a win over NAIA Division I Indiana-South Bend, she recorded 13 points in just 27 minutes of play with two three-pointers. For the week she made 40% of her shots from the floor and shot 50% from beyond the arc. She is currently fourth in the NAIA Division II in three-point field goal percentage (.524).
