Setting a school record for Holy Cross College, Lauren Malinowski (Dearborn Heights, Mich.) has been named the CCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week (DII). Holy Cross went 1-1 on the week earning their first win of the year over Indiana-Northwest.

Scoring a school record and career-high 33 points vs. Indiana-Northwest, Malinowski was a big key in the 95-75 win. She recorded a double-double with 33 points and 10 assists and also had four steals. She hit five three pointers shooting 50% from beyond the arc and shot .632 from the floor. In her first game of the week, she added 16 points vs. Concordia (Mich.) and five assists. For the week she averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and steals per game.
