ELGIN, Ill. - A new era for women's basketball is starting as former Illinois State University All-American and WNBA player Kristi Cirone has been named the head basketball coach for Judson University. Cirone comes to Judson after two years as the graduate assistant at the University of Missouri.

"Judson University is blessed to receive such a person as Kristi to take over our women's basketball program," states Director of Athletics Tony Tompkins. "She brings a professional caliber with her and is already respected in the collegiate basketball world for her accomplishments at Illinois State. I am excited for her and for Judson and looking forward to the future success of our women's basketball program."

ELGIN, Ill. - Stepping to lead the men's basketball program after three years of being the assistant coach, Joel Cotton is the new head coach of Judson University. Cotton brings with him NCAA Division I and III coaching experience to Judson as he looks to build upon a foundation that has won three CCAC Championships in the past five years while making two trips to the NAIA Division II National Tournament.

"Joel brings a presence with him to the court as a coach that Judson University will benefit from," says Director of Athletics Tony Tompkins. "He has done a great job as an assistant the past three years and I feel privileged to give him his first head coaching position. His knowledge of the game and strong recruiting skills will help take Judson up a level in the NAIA."

Mobile, AL - The #22 ranked Robert Morris Women's Tennis team saw their 2012 season come to an end, as they suffered a heartbreaking 5-4 loss to #16 ranked Indiana Wesleyan University in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.  The match lasted more than four hours in the Alabama heat and humidity as the Eagles finished the year with a 19-3 record.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. --- Making its third straight appearance in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, University of St. Francis earned its farthest advancement by playing in the championship round, but the Saints could not solve No. 1 seed Tennessee Wesleyan dropping their second decision to the Bulldogs in the tournament, 14-4, on Saturday afternoon to end their season.
